As a wedding photographer, I have the privilege of working with so many incredible couples, but every once in a while, there’s one that stands out in such a special way. This year, I was fortunate enough to capture the love story of Erika and Jacob, and let me tell you—this couple truly made my year unforgettable.
From the moment I met Erika, I felt an instant connection. It was as if we had known each other for years! She had such a warm and welcoming personality, and our energy just clicked. I knew right away that working with her was going to be an absolute joy.
I got to know Erika and Jacob even more during their engagement session, which was held in some of my favorite locations here in Tri-Cities. It was during this shoot that Erika shared some incredible news with me—she was expecting! There’s something so magical about photographing a couple in this season of their lives, and I could already see in Erika’s demeanor that she was going to be an amazing mom. Her maturity and grace were evident, and I couldn’t wait to document more of their journey together.
Over the next few months, I had the privilege of capturing three major milestones in Erika and Jacob’s lives— their engagement photos, their wedding day, and even maternity photos as they awaited the arrival of their little one. Talk about feeling lucky!
Their wedding day was nothing short of a dream. Held at the breathtaking Arbor Crest Winery in Spokane, it truly felt like something out of a movie. The venue, with its stunning views and elegant ambiance, was the perfect backdrop for their love story. Erika looked absolutely radiant in her gorgeous gown, and the florals—oh, the florals—were a stunning display of vibrant color that made everything come alive. It was the kind of wedding day you imagine when you think of pure romance.
I am so grateful to have been a part of Erika and Jacob’s journey, and to have captured these beautiful moments for them. From their engagement session to the wedding and beyond, I feel so lucky to have witnessed their love story unfold in front of my lens. I wish them all the best as they embark on their new chapter as parents, and I can’t wait to see what the future holds for this amazing couple!
